Part Time Faculty in Physics

The Department of Engineering of the University of Nicosia invites applications for a part-time faculty position in the field of Physics. The positions’ term is for the Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 semesters.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses with or without laboratory sessions. Some administrative work might be necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Since the language of teaching is English, the candidate must be fluent in English. More specifically, the required qualifications are:

• Basic studies in Physics and a PhD in Physics/Engineering
• Evidence of effective teaching in English
• Autonomy in developing and organizing the material to support students’ learning.

The following qualifications are highly desired and will be considered in the advantage of a candidate:

• Teaching experience at a university level in the field of Physics
• Professional experience in the same field
• Publication record.
