UNIC Athens is inviting applications from individuals interested in faculty appointments at its School of Humanities and Social Sciences for the following fields:


  • Counseling Psychology
  • School Psychology
  • Educational Psychology
  • Forensic Psychology


Qualifications:


Holder of PhD in relevant field.


Experience:


Minimum of 3 years of independent teaching and or research experience.

About the Department of Social Sciences:

The Department of Social Sciences offers nine programmes in Psychology, Social Work, and Criminology. Specifically, it provides Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Social Work; Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, School Psychology, Educational Psychology, Criminology, and Social Work; and a Doctoral degree in Psychology. THE World University Rankings 2025 has placed Psychology at UNIC among the top 301-400 globally.


The Department of Social Sciences at UNIC Athens during this initial stage of establishment is offering the Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

Faculty members play a crucial role in advancing the Department’s research agenda, contributing to its strong research output, including publications in high-impact journals. Social responsibility is a core value, demonstrated through initiatives like the Center for Therapy, Training and Research, which provides mental healthcare services and psychological support to the general public and the university community.
