Full Time Faculty - Department of Computer Science - UNIC Athens

UNIC Athens, the University of Nicosia's academic and research base in Greece, combining internationally ranked teaching with state-of-the-art facilities, is seeking to hire Full-Time Faculty in the fields of Computer Science and Data Science.

This call is restricted to the University of Nicosia campus in Athens. The Faculty should engage in teaching, research and other relevant activities within the academia, engage in the development, implementation, and continuous evaluation of the programmes of study under the Department of Computer Science, the undertaking of research, and the provision of guidance to students, as well as to be involved in the dissemination of scholarly developments to the wider society.

Qualifications:

• A Doctorate in a relevant field
• Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and research.
• Ability to teach in English.

Experience:

• A cover letter stating specialization and related experience
• A full Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a complete list of publications and names and positions of two referees.
• A 2-3 page research statement describing previous and current research, as well as future plans together with a short description of  the teaching methods up to 2 pages.
