Plans for establishment of UNIC Athens


The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is pleased to announce its plans to establish UNIC Athens, marking its potential expansion into Greece. The proposed new campus, currently in the planning stages, will be situated at ‘The Ellinikon’ and is expected to welcome its first cohort of students in the 2025-2026 academic year.

This initiative aims at founding the first foreign University campus in Greece, with a focus on establishing a School of Business. The establishment of a School of Business aims to enhance business education and research in Greece by leveraging UNIC's expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence in business studies.
 
*UNIC's planned expansion is contingent upon meeting all legal and regulatory requirements in both Greece and Cyprus, including full compliance with Greece's law pertaining to the operation of campuses of foreign universities tertiary education law (5094/2024).

Expression of Interest


UNIC is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from individuals interested in faculty appointments at its School of Business in UNIC Athens.

At this stage, UNIC seeks EOIs for the following fields:

Accounting

Finance

Management

Marketing


Applications for EOI


Interested candidates should submit the following documents:

  • A cover letter stating their area(s) of expertise
  • A full Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a complete list of publications
  • A one-page research statement describing previous and current research, as well as future plans
  • A one-page description of teaching experience
  • Two professional reference letters

Candidates should be eligible to work in the European Union/European Economic Area.
