The University of Nicosia (UNIC) has announced the establishment of UNIC Athens, its new campus at The Ellinikon, accredited by ETHAAE (Hellenic Authority for Higher Education), with its first cohort of students expected in the 2025–2026 academic year.
About the Department of Health Sciences
The Department of Health Sciences, within the School of Life & Health Sciences, aspires to be a centre of excellence in health sciences through high-quality teaching, impactful research, and community engagement.
In line with its strategic vision for Greece, UNIC Athens intends to offer the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) programme, building on the established success of the University of Nicosia’s Department of Health Sciences. By extending this programme to Greece, UNIC Athens aims to prepare highly skilled pharmacists equipped with the knowledge, professional competencies, and adaptability required to meet evolving healthcare challenges nationally and internationally.
Expression of Interest – Adjunct Faculty
The Department of Health Sciences at UNIC Athens invites Expressions of Interest for Adjunct Faculty in the following areas:
- Chemistry: Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry
- Biology: Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology
- Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology
- Physics for Pharmacy
Adjunct faculty will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching in their discipline, including lectures, tutorials, and laboratory-based instruction.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated university-level teaching experience (lectures and/or laboratories)
- Commitment to student-centred learning and teaching excellence
- Eligibility to work in the EU/EEA
