The Department of Engineering of the University of Nicosia invites applications for 3 part-time faculty positions in the field of Hydrocarbons Exploration and Production, with a specialty in the following or related areas: Geomechanics, Geophysics, Formation Evaluation, Petroleum Geology and Production. The positions are for the Spring 2024 semester and will be renewed upon satisfactory performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in Petroleum Engineering, or Mineral Recourses Engineering, or Geology, or Geophysics, or Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and, preferably, a good publications record in a relevant research area. The candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research excellence. Since the language of instruction is English, the candidates must be fluent in English. JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses with or without computer simulation sessions. Some administrative work might be required.
