We are looking for an International Admissions Counsellor (Maternity Replacement) who will be, among other things, supporting International Students with several processes, including admissions, migration, finance and general acclimatization to their new University Environment.
This person will serve as a replacement during maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates international students’ applications for admission
- Handles student entry permits for new International/Non-EU students
- Welcomes and meets new students, providing post arrival information and support
- Provides accurate/recent information and advice to students on a wide range of subjects, face to face, by email and by telephone.
- Handles scholarship applications
- Supports and provides information to Agents both before and after a service agreement is signed, on a variety of issues including recruitment, admission, migration etc.
- Available for traveling overseas, if required, for recruitment activities
- Communicates with staff in other departments and encourages support services and updates with current issues affecting students and their University’s experience.
- Updates information on University systems
- Files relevant documents
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Senior International Admissions Counsellor and the Director of International Admissions.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Counselling or other related field
